We, the experienced, reliable experts at New Age Tree Service of MN, Inc. have been trusted for the last 25 years by utility companies to do a great job and to do a great job the first time. We're big enough to take on your large projects, yet small enough to provide personal attention to detail.
We provide utility line clearing, hazard tree assessments, herbicide application and mowing services to help maintain right-of-ways.
UTILITY LINE CLEARING
We are contracted by utility companies to clear and maintain their power line right-of-ways. This includes carrying out a hazard tree assessment which can lead to pruning or the removal of vegetation that threatens contact with a power line, whether that be trees, large shrubs or stemmed woody plants.
Then we mow the brush below in order to keep these right-of-ways clear. We also provide storm clean-up as well for the utility companies we do business with in their affected areas.
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A300 standards and Z133 safety requirements for tree care practices are followed at New Age Tree Service in accordance with best management practices from ISA.
We take pride in our fleet of advanced, specialty equipment in order to do projects effectively and efficiently.
HERBICIDE APPLICATION
We also provide effective and safe herbicide applications by our licensed professionals. With over 25 years of experience in herbicide application, our licensed applicators use specified equipment for each job.
Herbicide application is critical in reducing our future environmental footprint. When a right-of-way needs to be maintained or reclaimed, our work is less intrusive. This allows space to re-establish native grasses and flowering plants which in turn can improve natural habitats, such as a bee's. Our professionals make sure that livestock and/or wildlife are not affected by our herbicide treatments.
Without the herbicide process, in the future, everything on the right-of-way comes back up in brush and overgrown vegetation compromises safety for electric transmission and workers. This means our work becomes more intrusive to the environment by having to remove and mow everything again in order to keep power lines clear.
