TODD OLERUD
President
Todd started New Age Tree Service in 1994 with a lot of ideas on how to do this type of work more effective and efficiently. He saw an opportunity to create a more mechanized operation that was focused on high production. His 3 keys to success = Employees, Safety & Dealer Support. He's always been the type of owner who'd rather spend his time in the field, side by side working with his employees, rather than sitting behind a desk.
Todd is a family-man with 4 children & 1 grandchild. In his spare time, which is rare, you'll catch him and his wife at his youngest son's high school football and basketball games or helping out when needed in his community of Spring Grove.

COREY ANDERSON
General Manager
Corey has been with New Age Tree Service from the beginning in 1994. He's Todd's right hand man while his time is well spent being our Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. Corey is very talented when it comes to mechanics and even re-built an entire chipper engine with his bare hands. His ongoing relationships with equipment dealers is one of the main reasons for our success.
Corey is also a family-man with 2 children & 1 grandchild. Him and his wife enjoy traveling and make trips down to southern Texas every year to visit family.

LIZ HENDERSON
Office Manager
Liz is our payroll guru and Todd's right hand lady. She wears many hats and backhands many heads in order to get things done right and on time!
Her other duties include, managing the office, billing, budgeting, reporting, credentialing and everything in between. She's been with New Age Tree Service for 6 years, even though she'll tell you it feels like 20!
Her and her husband have a house divided when it comes to their favorite NFL teams so the couple enjoys attending a yearly Raiders vs. Vikings game in Las Vegas. They also enjoy live music and singing a karaoke tune or two. Don't challenge her in a game of bags (cornhole), especially with a beer in her hand, because she will beat you.
JORDAN OLERUD
Strategy Manager
Jordan grew up with the family business but took an active role after graduating college, by helping around in the office. After a brief stint traveling as an Office Assistant for Precision Pipeline for 5 years, she came back and has now taken on a bigger role. She implemented EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) right away and has been responsible for accountability when it comes to weekly and quarterly goals, leadership team calls & upholding our company core values. She also is in charge of marketing & new client research.
Jordan and her boyfriend enjoy skiing and have a home in the U.P. of Michigan. They have a German Shepherd and recently welcomed a healthy baby to their little family. Friendly tip: don't give her anything with the colors green and gold.....SKOL!
GENERAL FOREMAN
BROCK ELTON
Supervisor - Jackson Electric, Mi Energy & ACEC projects
Brock is another employee who's been with the company for over 20 years, since 2002. As a General Foreman, Brock is very detail and schedule orientated. His expectations and goals are clear to all that work for him. He's always there, clocked in, before his crews, ready to start the day. No matter the weather, extreme heat or blistering cold, Brock is willing to be out there side by side, to get the tasks for the day complete. Brock is very flexible when it comes to working on different projects and being able to travel if necessary. Recently, he's been in charge of our herbicide crews for the summer months while also filling in when needed.
Brock and his wife are big NFL Patriots fans and love attending games. They also enjoy road tripping up to the U.P. of Michigan every now and then to do some four-wheeling. His two babies are his dogs, Oakley and Harley.
MITCH HOIHJELLE
Supervisor - Crow Wing Power projects
Mitch is the newest edition to our General Foreman/Leadership team but he's stepped up when needed and has been successful in doing so. He started with New Age in 2020 but had experience working in the industry beforehand. Mitch genuinely cares about those that work for him and wants to see them succeed. He's pretty laid back but only asks that everyone works hard every day and does their job. Employees have said that they can go to him asking for help with anything inside or outside of work. Recently his daughter has been working for him during the summer and he's enjoyed that.
Mitch enjoys muskie fishing, hunting and just spending time in nature. Teaching and educating people about things we can and cannot eat in the wild is another passion of his. Currently, he's helping his wife build a small hobby farm.
CHASE OLERUD
Supervisor - People's Energy Cooperative projects
Chase has been with New Age for 17 years, starting back in 2006, after relocating to Minnesota from Arizona. Working for Chase is stress free because you always know what's expected and what tasks need to be completed for the day. He likes to push people to be better than they were the day before and believes in everyone's professional and personal growth within the company. He makes sure everyone on his crews are doing everything safely and efficiently.
While not at work, Chase enjoys being in charge of his fantasy football leagues, summer nights playing sand volleyball & golfing in his free time. He most recently checked "hitting a hole in one" off his list of accomplishments. He and his family take yearly trips down to Arizona to visit family to escape the cold MN winters.
JOSH OLERUD
Supervisor - Minnesota Power & MLEC projects
Josh is another employee who grew up with the family business and spent many summers, starting when he was 10, helping wherever he could out in the field dragging brush and learning other aspects of the industry. After graduating college, he too took an active role and quickly gained the respect from others to transition to a General Foreman position. Josh doesn't back down from a challenge out in the field and those that work on his crew know if he sends them to a difficult spot, he'll be right there besides them. He inspires everyone to work hard and makes those on his crew feel important. He also takes the time to teach which is crucial when it comes to employee growth. He wants to make sure everyone feels like family.
Josh can't sit still for very long and when he's not working, spends his free time traveling, winning karaoke competitions, being the best man in weddings, golfing, lifting, etc.

JORDAN WENNES
Supervisor - People's Energy, RPU, Mi Energy & ACEC projects
Jordan, or you may know him better as "Skrap", has been with New Age for the past 15 years, since 2008. His competitiveness and passion for always growing and improving, have made him a force out in the field. He is our hardcore climber. There isn't much he can't do and thoroughly loves a good challenge. He gives those on his crew opportunities to excel and try new positions out in the field. Being laid back without micro managing is one of the things those that work with him appreciate. He knows how he wants a project done and expects it to be done the right way.
Skrap is a big gym guy and takes pride in everyone knowing how much he can lift. But don't try to out bench him....like we said, he loves a challenge.
He and his family enjoy taking road trips out to the west coast to visit family each year.
